Joey Gulino/Signal on the need for a decent xc course to attract major meets. Story. The youth and college programs would also benefit. And, just as important, a super course, with trees, would be an excellent place for walkers. The City needs to make a commitment on a permanent trail for all time, just as it has for such major sports as skateboarding and beach volleyball.
Another look at Walking Man.

I agree with you Don a good xc course would be very nice for the Santa Clarita area. They have things for dogs I think a good course would
really add a lot of good things for the runners and also walkers.Mt Sac. is not a beautiful course but it is very popular with all kinds of runners and very good meets. If you look at the races during the summer at coc there are a lot of of people that would use this and enjoy it.I am willing to bet the running community out there would even help with the costs in some way if it was worthwhile. |
