Big duel expected today in the Tour de France. Read. At COC, perhaps you have some Contador-like rival in your age group, a friend, a training partner. You probably need to try something different. It's not the finals, and tonight would be a good time to do it. Maybe you should go out 15 seconds slower in the first mile. Or start your move earlier. Or later.

We had another huge turnout at COC. And faster times. I heard last week's winner won again tonight followed by three Arcadia guys. I got a lot of photos, but my Photo Gallery is not available, injured I guess. Dang! Hamstrung again. Even if you can walk only, or just stand around, do come out and join the fun and catch up with old friends.

Thank you for the tip, Don
This will be my first COC race this series and I was planning on going out slower in my first mile and really work the 2nd half of the race. I appreciate you clearing that up for me :) |
