For money you can have everything it is said. No, that is not true. You can buy food, but not appetite; medicine, but not health; soft beds, but not sleep; knowledge but not intelligence; glitter, but not comfort; fun, but not pleasure; acquaintances, but not friendship; servants, but not faithfulness; grey hair, but not honor; quiet days, but not peace. The shell of all things you can get for money. But not the kernel. That cannot be had for money. -Arne Garborg, writer (1851-1924)

Hey everyone, I have a fundraiser for my Track and Field team, and they are raffle tickets. The raffle is for a 2010 Honda Civic DX, and all proceeds will go towards helping our team out for money to go to races and buy uniforms. Each ticket is $10.00 and if you buy 5 then you will also receive a bonus ticket which is a raffle for a 32" LCD TV. Let me know if you would like to help out and how many tickets, if any, you want to purchase. Checks can be made payable to Cal Poly Pomona Foundation.
I have 7 tickets left! Thanks to anyone who would like to help. -Stephen |
